θερμὰ τάδ᾽ ἀτρεκέως βασιλήια: τήνδε γὰρ αὐτοῖς
οἱ πρὶν ἀγασσάμενοι θῆκαν ἐπωνυμίην.
οὐ γὰρ ὑπὸ βροτέῳ πυρὶ θάλπεται ἀγλαὸν ὕδωρ,
αὐτομάτη δὲ λιβὰς τίκτεται αἰθομένη:οὐδὲ ῥόου ψυχροῦ ποτιδεύεαι ἀμφὶ λοετρά,
