λωτὸν ἐρεπτομένους προτέρων οὐ ψεύσατο μῦθος:

πίστιν ἀληθείης τοῦτο τὸ λουτρὸν ἔχει.
εἰ γὰρ ἅπαξ καθαροῖσι λοέσσεται ὕδασιν ἀνήρ,
οὐ ποθέει πάτρην, οὐκ ἐθέλει γενέτας.
