τί ἂν εἴποι Ἕκτωρ ὁρῶν τὸν Ἀχιλλέα ἐν τοῖς ὅπλοις
Πηλείδην κοτέουσα πάλιν θώρηξεν Ἀθήνη
ἔντεσιν ἀθανάτοις. ἦ ῥίγιον ἔσσεται ἄλγος
αἰνομόροις Τρώεσσι, καὶ Ἕκτορι, καὶ γενετῆρι,
ὁππόταν ἔντεα ταῦτα θεὸς πόρεν ἀνέρι τῷδε.
