νήπιον υἱὸν ἔλειπες: ἐν ἡλικίῃ δὲ καὶ αὐτός,
Εὐρύμεδον, τύμβου τοῦδε θανὼν ἔτυχες.
σοὶ μὲν ἕδρη θείοισι παρ᾽ ἀνδράσι: τὸν δὲ πολῖται
τιμησεῦντι, πατρὸς μνώμενοι ὡς ἀγαθοῦ.
Thou hast left an infant son, but thyself, Eurymedon, dist die in thy prime and liest in this tomb. Thy abode is with the divine among men, but him the citizens will honour, mindful of his father's goodness.
