Ὀρφεὺς μὲν κιθάρᾳ πλεῖστον γέρας εἵλετο θνητῶν,
Νέστωρ δὲ γλώσσης ἡδυλόγου σοφίῃ,
τεκτοσύνῃ δ᾽ ἐπέων πολυίστωρ θεῖος Ὅμηρος,
Τηλεφάνης δ᾽ αὐλοῖς, οὗ τάφος ἐστὶν ὅδε.
