Il cheminait seul, quand devant lui, dans la forêt, se dressa un lion féroce. C'était sa vie qui était en jeu; mais la déesse inspira au Galle l'idée de frapper sur son tambourin et mit en fuite la bête carnassière, effrayée par ce son prodigieux. Et c'est pour cela que des boucles sont suspendues aux rameaux bruissants de cet arbre.
