Πίγρης ὀρνίθων ἄπο δίκτυα, Δᾶμις ὀρείων,
Κλείτωρ δ᾽ ἐκ βυθίων, σοὶ τάδε, Πάν, ἔθεσαν,
ξυνὸν ἀδελφειοὶ θήρης γέρας, ἄλλος ἀπ᾽ ἄλλης,
ἴδρι τὰ καὶ γαίης, ἴδρι τὰ καὶ πελάγευς:ἀνθ᾽ ὧν τῷ μὲν ἁλός, τῷ δ᾽ ἠέρος, ᾧ δ᾽ ἀπὸ δρυμῶν

πέμπε κράτος ταύτῃ, δαῖμον, ἐπ᾽ εὐσεβίῃ.
Pigrès t'a consacré, Pan, ce filet à prendre les oiseaux; Damis, ce filet pour chasser les bêtes des montagnes; Cleitor, ce filet qui surprendra celles qui vivent au fond des eaux. C'est un don commun de ces trois frères: chacun te dédie l'instrument de son genre de chasse particulier, dieu expert en cet art et sur terre et sur mer. En échange, accorde-leur de beaux succès sur les eaux, dans l'air et dans les bois: ce sera le prix de leur pieuse offrande.
