ἐκπρολιπγοῦσα χορῶν παρθενίων ἀΐειν
Ἀρτέμιδος περὶ ναόν, Ἐπίξενος ἔνθα μ᾽ ἔθηκεν,
λευκὸν ἐπεὶ κείνου γῆρας ἔτειρε μέλη.
So one day I was fated to leave the hideous field of battle and listen to the song and dance of girls round the temple of Artemis, where Epixenus set me, when white old age began to wear out his limbs.
