ἓξ μνῶν ἓξ φιάλας Κροῖσος βασιλεὺς ἀνέθηκεν
δραχμῇ τὴν ἑτέρην μείζονα τῆς ἑτέρης.

Croesus the king dedicated six bowls weighing six minae, each one drachm heavier than the other.
*Solution*: The weight of the first is 97 1/2 drachm, and so on.
