Un quidam vit hier, errant par la ville, la Victoire, tout triste. Il lui dit: « Déesse Victoire, quel malheur t'es donc arrivé? » Et elle, se lamentant et critiquant la décision, lui fit cette réponse: « Es-tu donc le seul à ne pas le savoir? On m'a donné à Patricius! » Elle était vraiment accablée de chagrin cette Victoire; car, contrairement à toute règle, Patricius a saisi au vol la victoire, tel un pilote qui profite du vent!
