οὐ δέχεται Μάρκον τὸν ῥήτορα νεκρὸν ὁ Πλούτων,
εἰπών, ἀρκείτω Κέρβερος ὧδε κύων.
εἰ δ᾽ ἐθέλεις πάντως, Ἰξίονι καὶ Μελίτωνι
τῷ μελοποιητᾖ, καὶ Τιτυῷ μελέτα.
οὐδὲν γὰρ σοῦ χεῖρον ἔχω κακόν, ἄχρις ἂν ἐλθὼν
ὧδε σολοικίζῃ Ῥοῦφος ὁ γραμματικός.
