Texts

— Paton edition

If I am not pleased, Floras, may I become a dactyl or a foot, one of those that you torture. Yes, I swear by the happy lot you drew in the contest, I am as pleased at your crown as if it were a joint of pork. Therefore be of good heart, Floras, and become cheerful again ; in this fashion you can win the long race as well.
